Kilian Nikiema (ADO Den Haag) - 9.1
ADO Den Haag may have lost, but Burkina Faso international Kilian Niekiema continued to make a name for himself. It wasn't down to him that ADO stayed winless even after six rounds, recording 10 saves, including three on big chances for FC Twente. Niekiema is far and away the leader in saves among all Eredivisie goalkeepers with 36, eight more than any other 'keeper.
Defenders
Mauro Junior (PSV) - 8.3
It was another fantastic night for PSV and a fantastic night for Mauro Junior, who capped off a momentous week with a great performance. Just days after receiving his first senior call-up for the Brazilian national team, Mauro Jr. led from the back once again, creating 4 chances, recording 2 interceptions, completing 90 passes, and leading the team with 122 touches in a 4-1 win that earned PSV a return to the top spot.
Robin Propper (FC Twente) - 8.4
There was no getting past Robin Propper for ADO. Twente's trusted captain won 5 of 7 duels, losing just one of 5 aerial duels and winning a tackle as Propper and the Enschede outfit kept a clean sheet for the second time this week.
Propper also celebrated another big moment, scoring his first Eredivisie goal since 2024!
Givairo Read (Feyenoord) - 9.0
As far as games for attacking full-backs, you won't find them much better than Givairo Read's against PEC Zwolle. The youngster assisted three goals in Feyenoord's crushing 7-0 win and completed 44 of 45 total passes. He could've had two goals, too, were it not for the woodwork denying him a game with five goal contributions.
Midfielders
Sven Mijnans (PSV) - 9.5 (PotW)
Sven Mijnans was given the start as PSV's false nine against Sparta Rotterdam, with Ricardo Pepi being given rest. Mijnans did not disappoint, attempting 8 shots and bagging his first PSV hat-trick to propel the reigning champions into the league lead. Especially his third goal was memorable, hitting home from outside the box with a beautiful curled effort.
The former AZ captain led the game in nearly every attacking metric, while also creating 3 chances. His first hat-trick in Eindhoven earns him his first Player of the Week award for the 2026-27 season. With the way PSV are playing, it likely won't be his last either.
Gjivai Zechiel (Feyenoord) - 9.1
Last year, it was Joey Veerman. This year, it's Gjivai Zechiel who keeps finding his way into our Team of the Week. Zechiel is lighting it up this year and improved his season tally to 5 goals on Sunday. Zechiel also led Feyenoord with 96 touches and 76 accurate passes, while winning possession 7 times.
Ramiz Zerrouki (FC Twente) - 8.6
FC Twente's midfield duo of Ramiz Zerrouki and Daouda Weidmann delivered another stellar performance on Saturday. Zerrouki flourishes in Enschede and recorded another team-leading 107 touches, 78 completed passes, and 5 created chances against ADO Den Haag. He also won possession a team-high 9 times.
Daouda Weidmann (FC Twente) - 8.7
Next to Zerrouki, Daouda Weidmann was an absolute midfield machine. The Frenchman won all 10 of his duels, including 3/3 completed dribbles and 3 won tackles, and earned a penalty before assisting Robin Propper's 2-0. Fantastic game from him.
Forwards
Ilyes Hamache (Cambuur) - 9.2
It took them six weeks, but Cambuur are finally off the mark. Europa League contestants NEC Nijmegen were beaten 3-0 in Leeuwarden, mostly thanks to Ilyes Hamache's brace. The Frenchman was the catalyst of Cambuur's success, leading everyone with 5 shots and 3 completed dribbles, while also winning a tackle and two interceptions.
Nacho Ferri (Feyenoord) - 9.2
After a couple of testy weeks, Nacho Ferri has finally gotten going at Feyenoord. The Spaniard scored twice against PEC Zwolle, while having one goal ruled an own goal after a heavy touch from Simon Graves. Ferri was a force to be reckoned with and happily let loose in front of goal, recording 6 total attempts.
Anis Hadj Moussa (Feyenoord) - 9.3
Speaking of testy weeks: Anis Hadj Moussa was inches away from leaving Feyenoord for a Saudi adventure, but stayed put after a chaotic saga and was forgiven after speaking to Van Bronckhorst and the team.
Starting again in Zwolle, Hadj Moussa repaid the manager's trust by scoring twice, completing 3 dribbles, creating 3 chances, and leading the team with 16 touches in the opposition's box.
