FC Porto have completed the permanent signing of Jakub Kiwior from Arsenal after triggering the purchase option in his loan deal.

The Poland international impressed during his spell, making 38 appearances and playing over 3,000 minutes across all competitions.

"FC Porto has triggered the purchase option included in the loan agreement signed with Arsenal FC and will now definitively hold the sporting registration rights and 100% of the economic rights of Jakub Kiwior for a fixed fee of €17 million, plus a variable component that may reach €5 million, subject to the achievement of certain objectives," the Portuguese side confirmed.

Initially joining for a £1.7 million loan fee, Kiwior has now secured a long-term future in Portugal after becoming a key figure in Porto’s title-winning campaign, where he contributed two assists from defence.

Porto confirmed he has signed a contract running until June 2030, including a €70 million release clause to safeguard their investment.
