Haaland was scheduled to attend a press conference on Saturday morning ahead of Norway's Nations League match against Portugal on Sunday in Oslo.
However, late Friday evening, the Norwegian Football Federation made the following announcement to the domestic and international media:
"We are making changes to tomorrow's press conference. (Stale) Solbakken, (Fredrik) Aursnes, and (Andreas) Schjelderup will be attending," the Norway body wrote.
The announcement from the federation came a few hours after major news broke regarding Haaland's club, Manchester City, who have reportedly been found guilty of 114 breaches of the Premier League's financial rules, which could result in severe punishment for the club.
UEFA Nations League
The UEFA Nations League 2026/27 is contested by the national teams of 54 of UEFA's member associations. They're divided into four leagues based on the rankings of the previous edition, with Leagues A, B, and C featuring sixteen teams each, divided into four groups of four, while League D features six teams divided into two groups of three. It begins in September 2026, with the finals in June 2027.
