After two weeks packed full of drama, high-quality matches and upsets everywhere you look, the 2026 Wimbledon finals are finally here and they begin today with an all-Czech women's final between 10th seed Karolina Muchova and ninth seed Linda Noskova.

09:00 CET - Good morning and welcome to the 2026 Wimbledon finals! Finals Saturday is the day of the women's final and we have been treated to a historic one this time around between two of Czechia's finest: Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova.

With just one seed separating the two, this final is one of the most difficult to predict in recent memory as neither player is an obvious favourite. In what is the first-ever all-Czech women's singles final at a Grand Slam, both players are also looking to clinch their maiden Grand Slam title.

On paper, Muchova's run to the final is the more impressive of the two players. Beating Naomi Osaka after Osaka had stunned world number one Aryna Sabalenka in the round before was quite the statement. And backing it up to beat two-time Grand Slam champion Coco Gauff in the semi-finals spoke volumes about her confidence.

Wimbledon 2026

Wimbledon is taking place from June 29th to July 12th at the All England Club in south-west London. With 128 players in the draw, it is the third of the four Grand Slams of the tennis season and the only one played on grass.

Muchova showed against Gauff that she can face the adversity of being match points down and comeback to win. She has the mental resilience of a champion in the making.

Both players have dropped just two sets en route to the final and whilst Noskova's run to this showpiece event has been slightly easier, she has still had to face some very tricky opponents.

Her semi-final clash against Marta Kostyuk was the toughest test of them all and Noskova passed it with flying colours with a dominant straight-sets win. Out of the two players, Noskova has looked the most impressive and will therefore be the slight favourite when the action begins at 17:00 CET.
