The Chicago Bears scored early and often on Thursday Night Football, and late in the fourth quarter, they held on to take down the New England Patriots 30-24.

The Chicago Bears are a team that are taking major steps forward under QB Caleb Williams, and after a 4-2 start to the season, they had a chance to make a statement at home against the reigning AFC Champion New England Patriots.

Fortunately for Chicago, they got off to a great start, finishing off the first quarter with a 10-0 lead on the back of a four-yard De'Andre Swift Touchdown run, with the team putting immediate pressure on the Patriots offense to get back in the game.

In the second, New England did just that early through QB Drake Maye, who took in a Touchdown run of his own, and later in the quarter, he'd toss a 48-yard score to Rhamondre Stevenson, giving the Patriots their best quarter of the night with 14 points.

Maye wasn't done there however, as he would add another deep ball in the third quarter to bring the Patriots to within one score again, as the team simply weren't going away despite the Bears consistent offensive production throughout the game.

With that score, the Patriots faced a 27-21 deficit heading into the fourth quarter, with plenty of drama expected in another fantastic Thursday Night Football clash.

Fortunately for the Bears, and not so fortunate for the road team, there were just two Field Goals kicked in the final frame of the night, and as a result, the Bears would hold on to pick up the 30-24 victory, with New England falling to 1-3 on the road early in the season.

By the end of the night, Caleb Williams was once again clinical, going 22/33 in the air with 303 yards, 2 Touchdowns and no interceptions, and with the Bears combining for 116 yards on the ground, this was an all-round team effort that proves this team can once again be a force to be reckoned with in 2026.
