The Danish team in the 4,000-meter team pursuit got off to a strong start on Wednesday morning at the World Championships in Shanghai, China.

Rasmus Lund, Tobias Aagaard, Frederik Rodenberg, and Carl-Frederik Bévort clocked the fastest time in the qualifying round by a wide margin and will now face Australia later on Wednesday for a spot in the World Championship final.

The Danes crossed the finish line with a time of 3 minutes and 44.991 seconds, securing their place in what is effectively the World Championship semi-final.

This keeps the dream of winning a fourth consecutive World Championship title very much alive; the team previously won gold in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
